Journal launches
We launched 27 new journals in 2020, many of which support the UN's Sustainable Development Goals with research addressing the biggest global challenges of our time. In particular, SDG 3 to ensure healthy lives and promote wellbeing for all and SDG 15 to find sustainable solutions to protect our ecosystems.

Virtual Editors’ Summit
In 2020, our annual Editors’ Summit moved online, providing the opportunity for even more of our editors to attend. During the virtual editions, we updated the community on our key company initiatives, including our response to Covid-19 and how we are maximizing research quality on a large scale.
Nearly 15,000 editors tuned in to celebrate our inspiring community's achievements during this challenging year – together making science freely available and helping to address the critical challenges we face as humanity.
